Overview of Athena Intense Supplement
Athena Intense Pre-Workout product claims to provide its users with lightning energy, improved fat oxidation and lipolysis support, greater focus and better lean muscle generation.
We’ll take a look at the ingredients and see if these claims can be delivered!
Ingredient List Analysis
As we can see from the ingredients, this supplement puts its main focus on two ingredients at full, effective doses that matter and provide real and proven results.
One of the two main ingredients of this supplement are BCAAs. The dose is 6 grams in total at a classic split of 2:1:1 for L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine – which is more than enough to get you reliable and effective results.
The second main ingredient is the 3 grams of Citrulline Malate. This substance enhances the utilization of BCAAs by your body, so it has amazing synergy with the other main ingredient. It also improves anaerobic performance and increases muscle strength and endurance.
Lastly, it’s one of the best pump-enhancers for your body, meaning that it increases blood flow to your muscles like no other supplement on the market.
For men, the gold standard dose is around 6 grams, for women, except those who compete in sports or are serious or professional bodybuilders, 3 grams is quite enough.
Beta-Alanine – This substance is included in almost every pre-workout powder and shake because of its various benefits. It promotes fat loss, improves gains in strength and power, as well as delays the onset of neuromuscular fatigue.
Betaine – It increases performance and significantly improves lean muscle mass growth.
Taurine – With an obvious typo in the ingredients list, it’s contained at 500 mg, not grams. This amino acid, along with N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine improves various bodily functions and is needed for mutual synergy with Beta-Alanine, as it gets depleted fast.
Caffeine Anhydrous – This is a dehydrated form of caffeine, and we all know what this substance does, don’t we?
Huperzine A – It’s a nootropic that improves cognitive brain function.
Beet extract – It supposedly improves performance, reduces fatigue and increases blood flow to muscles, but the research is still somewhat inconclusive – and the dose is quite low.

Our Evaluation of This Pre-Workout for Women
Value For Money87%
It’s great – there’s absolutely no doubt about it. If you’re just starting out or are a casual or intermediate level gym-goer – the dose and variety of ingredients you get in one scoop are simply perfect for you.
Just be careful because it is STRONG and can be overwhelming if you’re not used to pre-workout supplements at all!
If you’re someone who wants a very powerful pre-workout supplement or are a professional and serious athlete – you can safely take two scoops and get significant and reliable results, too!
All of the ingredients will still stay in the safe range, and since caffeine is only included at 150 mg, two scoops making it 300 mg will still be quite safe as well – just make sure you’re not very sensitive to it, first!
The only downside would be the price if you take it at two scoops.
