Now let’s get on with the FitMiss Delight Review!
Supplement Overview of FitMiss Delight Protein Powder
FitMiss Delight Protein Powder by Musclepharm supplement is a women’s complete protein shake designed for macronutrient supplementation and weight loss.
It is unique in that way because it is specifically designed for women who not only want to increase their protein intake but also lose weight in the process.
For this purpose, this product claims to provide a full day’s dose of essential nutrients with quality calories and also says to deliver optimal levels of protein, digestive enzymes, vitamins as well as minerals.
So let’s see exactly what this sports shake has to offer!
Ingredient List Analysis
The thing that stands out the most is that FitMiss Delight contains a unique blend of fruits and vegetables, not seen in any other protein product.
Its protein blend contains Whey Concentrate, added Branched Chain Amino Acids in the form of L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine, Egg Albumin, Micellar Casein, Whey Protein Hydrolysate and Whey Isolate.
Concentrates have low levels of fat and cholesterol yet high levels of carbs as lactose. They’re not good for lactose-intolerant people but retain most nutrients that are naturally found in whey.
Isolates are the most expensive form of whey and are fat and lactose-free, providing the highest concentration of protein by weight, at 90%+. This form is best for lactose-intolerant customers or those who want an extremely fast-acting protein.
Hydrolysates are predigested and partially hydrolyzed whey made for faster and easier absorption and metabolizing by the body.
They’re ideal for people with digestion problems or various allergies, but are known to be extremely expensive and having a downside of spiking your insulin levels by around 28-43% more than normal forms do.
Egg Albumin is just simple egg white protein – perfect for quick digestion and absorption.
Micellar Casein is a slow-digesting form of whey, which is known for its extremely high satiating effect, meaning that people who consume it will feel fuller for much longer and won’t want to eat as a result.
The added BCAAs, also known as Branched Chain Amino Acids are an excellent bonus, but not necessary for those who don’t have regular and intensive exercises, as you already get a dose of them from the protein itself – and getting too much, more than your body actually needs, is not that great.
If you want to learn why BCAAs are important, how they work and what they do – please refer to BCAA Guide: The Facts, Benefits and Side Effects.
Consuming more BCAAs than your body needs or can handle can bring some undesirable side effects, that’s why this amino acid spiking is entirely unnecessary when the protein itself already naturally contains them.
This would make MusclePharm FitMiss Delight incredible for serious athletes and weightlifters, but not that great for casual gym-goers or those who irregularly exercise.
However, it all comes down to the actual dose of said amino acids, and they might not even exceed the daily recommended threshold. There’s no way of knowing since the actual quantity isn’t given on the label.
But given that the protein content by weight of scoop is just 16 grams out of 25, we can say that additional BCAA spiking may even be necessary!
The Other Ingredients:
FitMiss Delight protein shake also contains another added amino acid called L-Glutamine – which has an active role in the biosynthesis of protein. This is a great addition to the supplement.
It also utilizes the vegetable-based protein weight-loss compound called SolaThin®.
SolaThin® is a vegetable-based protein that is designed to make people feel full much faster than normal.
Apart from that, this protein supplement shake also contains a Greens & Fruits Blend:
(Flax Seed, Apple Extract, Artichoke Leaf Extract, Barley Grass, Black Berry Fruit, Blood Orange, Broccoli, Cherry Extract, Citrus Flavonoids, Cranberry Extract, Lemon Bioflavonoids, Mango Seed Extract, Pomegranate Rind Extract, Red Currants, Spinach, Strawberry, and Watermelon).
This is what makes the supplement unique and lets it stand out from all the other protein supplements in the whole industry.
The natural micronutrients, minerals, enzymes and other bio-available substances contained in these greens and fruits are incredibly beneficial to overall health and make this supplement extremely healthy.
That said, there is something contained in it which ultimately detracts from its exceptionally healthy image – namely Sucralose and Acesulfame-K
These two artificial sweeteners are known for their array of health hazards, like unnecessarily spiking your insulin hormone levels or even deterring its secretion at important moments. They also screw up blood sugar levels and have a slew of other potentially harmful side effects.
We utterly dislike them and usually opt for products that contain either the natural sweetener Stevia or even normal sugar for taste.
FitMiss Delight Features: The PROs and CONs
So now that we’ve seen what this product has to offer in the ingredient department – let’s take a note of the other facts:
- Perfect for Weight-Loss
- Extremely Low Calorie, Low Fat, Low Sugar
- Contains a Greens & Fruit Blend and an Enzyme Blend to Aid Digestion and Promote Fat Loss
Due to the fact that it contains a comprehensive Greens & Fruit Blend, it can almost be called a proper meal-replacement product.
We say almost, because there’s still nothing that fully beats a balanced and healthy meal.
That said, this is as close a protein powder product has ever gotten to being called a “proper meal replacement” – which is a great achievement in and of itself!
It’s also very affordable for the benefits that you’re getting.
- Sub-Par Taste
- Medium Cholesterol
- Contains Artificial Flavors and Sweeteners
- Contains Sucralose and Acesulfame-K
- Exposed to Many Allergens (Eggs, Wheat, Soy, Milk, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Soybeans, Shellfish and Fish)
- BCAA spiking
- Low Protein per Scoop Content (16g in a 25g scoop)
Unfortunately, there are still quite a lot of downsides to this supplement.
The things that stand out the most is the low protein per scoop, the sub-standard taste and the addition of Sucralose and Ace-K.
All of these detract from the wondrous luster of FitMiss Delight and prevent it from being one of the absolute best protein powder supplements for women.
Our Evaluation and Verdict of The Supplement
Value For Money92%
We absolutely love this product, and our experience with it was nothing short of exceptional.
It was remarkably good at controlling appetite and making us feel great throughout the day.
That said, it still contains room for improvement, but at the given price, we can overlook the cons and focus on all of the amazing benefits that it provides.
However, if you’re looking for a much better product that’s virtually side-effect free, contains more protein per scoop and provides significantly stronger results – check out Transparent Labs Grass Fed Whey Protein instead.
There’s a reason why FitMiss Delight is only at our number four spot on the top 10 list – and the reason is that there are still better products that are out there on the market.
The Protein Powder Supplement FitMiss Delight by Musclepharm has exceeded our expectations, and we can easily say that it’s one of the best real meal-replacement protein shakes in the world.
However, don’t go overboard and rely entirely on it, because your optimum health and safety can only be maintained with a proper and balanced diet – not just supplement.
We can easily recommend this for women who want to increase their protein intake and lose stubborn belly fat in the process – while suppressing their hunger pangs and staying healthy in the process.
So what do you personally think about full meal replacement protein powders? Have you ever tried one or is this one going to be your first?
